<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an R-T-B-based sintered magnet which suppresses a heavy rare-earth element RH from diffusing in the inner part of a main phase particle even in a surface layer region of a sintered magnet body and improves H<SB POS="POST">cJ</SB>without substantially reducing B<SB POS="POST">r</SB>, and to provide a production apparatus used for the method. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for producing the R-T-B-based sintered magnet includes: a treatment container 3 which has at least one opening part 8 and has a plurality of R-T-B-based sintered magnets 9 inserted therein; heating devices 7 and 17 for heating an RH supply source 5 arranged at the outside of the treatment container 3 and the treatment container 3; and a driving device 4 for moving the plurality of the R-T-B-based sintered magnets 9 so as to change the arrangement relation between the RH supply source 5 and the plurality of the R-T-B-based sintered magnets 9 in a state that the RH supply source 5 faces one part of the plurality of the R-T-B-based sintered magnets 9 and is separated from the R-T-B-based sintered magnets 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
