<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transmission system and the like which further improve a long-distance transmission by reducing an influence of stimulated Brillouin scattering. <P>SOLUTION: The optical transmission device 30 includes: a plurality of semiconductor lasers 321 to 32n for outputting laser beams 311 to 31n having wavelengths different from one another; a modulator 35 for modulating the laser beams 311 to 31n which have been output from the semiconductor lasers 321 to 32n in the same modulation system on the basis of the same electric signal 33, and thereby outputting the modulated laser beams as a plurality of optical signals 341 to 34n; and a multiplexer 36 for multiplexing the optical signals 341 to 34n which have been output from the modulator 35 into one optical signal 21, and outputting the multiplexed optical signals to an optical fiber transmission path 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
