<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel vapor treatment apparatus for vehicles in which upsizing of a canister is suppressed and which is able to introduce fuel vapor to an intake system easily without performing complicated correction. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel vapor treatment apparatus for vehicles includes: a direct purge channel 14 capable of supplying fuel vapor to a purge channel 14 not via a canister 11; a purge control valve 15 for controlling to open/close communication states between the canister 11 and an air-intake system 2 of an internal combustion engine E; a direct purge control valve 17 for controlling communications between a fuel tank 5 and the air-intake system by another opening and closing operation; and a two-way valve 12 provided in a charge channel 10. The fuel vapor treatment apparatus has a purge mode in which fuel vapor adsorbed in the canister 11 is purged to the air-intake system 2 of the internal combustion engine E by closing the direct purge control valve 17 and opening the purge control valve 15 during operation of the internal combustion engine E, and a direct purge mode in which fuel vapor in the fuel tank 5 is purged to the air-intake system 2 by closing the purge control valve 15 and opening the direct purge control valve 17. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
