<p>The present invention provides a method and device for triggering a power headroom report. The method comprises: upon expiring of a power headroom report timer, a user equipment, according to user equipment power management influence, triggering the user equipment to submit a power headroom report. The user equipment power management influence is a power variation caused by the user equipment power management. In the present invention, the user equipment power headroom report is triggered according to the user equipment power management influence, which solves the problem in the prior art that the power headroom report is inaccurate, so that a base station side can perform correct power adjustment according to the reported power headroom, thereby achieving the effect of reducing the overheads of the power adjustment.</p> |
