<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor-driven compressor that hardly transmits vibration and noise to the exterior. <P>SOLUTION: The motor-driven compressor 1 includes: a housing 7; a compressor mechanism 3 provided in the housing 7, sucking a refrigerant from the outside of the housing 7, compressing the refrigerant to discharge the refrigerant to the outside of the housing 7; and a motor mechanism 5 provided in the housing 7 to actuate the compressor mechanism 3. The housing 7 includes: a first housing 10 which fixes the compressor mechanism 3 and the motor mechanism 5 to the inside thereof; and second housings 21, 22 in which a mounting portion 29 to the outside is formed.
