<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shallow type catch basin which is easily cleaned since a structure inside the catch basin is simple and it can be removable at the time of cleaning. <P>SOLUTION: A shallow type catch basin is equipped with a drain horizontal pipe on a peripheral side wall of a catch basin body. The catch basin body is composed of an upper-stage tank and a lower-stage tank. A bottom face of the upper-stage tank is provided with an opening having a step part which guides wastewater to the lower-stage tank. A trap bell capable of being put into and taken out from the opening is positioned by a positioning projection provided at a bottom face of the lower-stage tank so as to be attached to the bottom face of the lower-stage tank. A drainage inlet pipe concentrically disposed to the trap bell so as to seal the wastewater inside the trap bell is provided with a disk-like jaw at the upper end so as to be hung on the bottom face of the upper-stage tank around the opening. An annular packing having a lip structure having a shape that is changed by receiving pressures due to self-weight of the drainage inlet pipe is mounted on an upper outer peripheral portion of the drainage inlet pipe so as to seal the opening and perform water-sealing by the wastewater accumulated in the step part of the opening. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
