CORE-SHEATH CONJUGATE POLYESTER MONOFILAMENT AND INDUSTRIAL WOVEN FABRIC

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester monofilament with necessary and sufficient tensile strength and loop strength as well as excellent hydrolysis resistance in high temperature and high humidity condition and suitable for a composite material of various woven fabrics, especially for industrial woven fabrics such as a papermaking dryer canvas, and to provide an industrial woven fabric using the same.

SOLUTION: A core-sheath conjugate polyester monofilament comprises: (A) polyester-based resin as a core component; and a resin composition comprising 0.5 to 20 pts.wt. of (C) silicone-based compound based on 100 pts.wt. of (B) poly(cyclohexanedimethylene terephthalate)-based resin as a sheath component, in which carboxyl terminal group concentration is 8 equivalent/106g or less.
