Disclosed in the present invention are a communication method for mobile equipment and the mobile equipment. The method includes: receiving a call by the mobile equipment which at least comprises two Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) cards (101); judging whether an auxiliary card is locked after determining the call is corresponding to the auxiliary card in the SIM cards (102); terminating the call if the auxiliary card is locked (103); and prompting a subscriber to call back a dialing number by adopting a master card in the SIM cards (104). The mobile equipment is also correspondingly disclosed by the present invention. With the technical scheme provided by the invention, the mobile equipments used in the networks of different operators can also communicate very conveniently, so that the subscribers can switch more conveniently among the different operators, and also the operators can attract the subscribers better.
