The present invention provides a spray measurement method in which a test liquid (3) containing a thermosetting resin is sprayed from an injection valve (2) and spray (6) of the test liquid (3) injected from the injection valve (2) is irradiated with light (L) and recovered while drops of liquid in the spray (6) are hardened as particles, in order to provide treatment for causing the thermosetting resin to undergo hardening, and the recovered particles are used to analyse spray characteristics such as particle size distribution in the injection valve.
