<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an electrostatic transducer with which, when used as an electrostatic speaker, a plurality of sounds output into space are heard by a listener as a sound of combined state, when used as an electrostatic microphone, a plurality of sounds input from space are transduced to combined sound signals. <P>SOLUTION: An electrostatic speaker 1 has a first and a second electrode pair opposing to each other with a vibrator 10 between them. Electrodes 20U-1, 20L-1 constituting the first electrode pair have a plurality of comb-shaped parts protruding toward the second electrode pair from proximal regions 20U-A, 20L-A, and electrodes 20U-2, 20L-2 constituting the second electrode pair have more than one comb-shaped part protruding toward the first electrode pair from proximal regions 20U-C, 20L-C. Of electrodes on the same side seen from a vibrator 10, an area sandwiched by tow comb-shaped parts of one electrode is to be occupied with a comb-shaped part of the other electrode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
