CHEMICAL HEAT ACCUMULATOR, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemical heat accumulator whose chemical heat accumulating material structure is prevented from breakage and crash, and which is excellent in handleability such as in attachment/detachment thereof to/from a storing and housing member; and to provide a method for manufacturing the same.

SOLUTION: The chemical heat accumulator 100 includes: the chemical heat accumulating material structure 21 containing a particulate chemical heat accumulating material and having a stereostructure; and a shape holding material adhered to at least a part of the chemical heat accumulating material structure 21 and holding the shape of the chemical heat accumulating material structure 21. The chemical heat accumulating material structure 21 has a column structure as the stereostructure having one set of parallel planes, and side planes connecting the one set of planes; and the shape holding material is adhered to at least a part of the side planes.
