<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically detect a situation where a victim is deprived of the freedom of his/her body by a robber and is left in a state where he/she cannot perform a notification operation, and to provide an emergency notification. <P>SOLUTION: A left person detection device includes: an imaging part 20 for sequentially acquiring monitoring images of a monitoring area; a storage part 21 for storing a background image; and a control part 22 for processing the monitoring image. The control part 21 includes: person area extraction means 220 for extracting a person area from the monitoring image; fallen person detection means 222 for detecting a person area in a fallen state out of the person area; stationary state determination means 223 for determining whether the person area in the fallen state is a stationary state; very low-speed movement determination means 224 for determining a very slow-speed movement state where the person area in the fallen state is moving at a very slow speed; and left person state detection means 225 for detecting a state where the person is left on the basis of both determination results of the stationary state determination means 223 and very low-speed movement determination means 224. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
