<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption of a memory in an information processor with a virtual machine. <P>SOLUTION: A memory power controlling program includes: a step for, when a first virtual memory bank among multiple virtual memory banks has no efficient data, referring to a virtual memory bank pool management part that stores information showing to which one of multiple physical memory banks of the physical memory each of the virtual memory banks belongs; a step for determining whether or not it is possible to switch off a physical memory bank allocated to the first virtual memory bank; a step for, if determined to be possible, designating the physical memory bank allocated to the first virtual memory bank as a switch-off target; and a step for switching off the designated physical memory bank. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
