<p>A periphery vehicle detection device according to the present invention comprises: a periphery vehicle detection unit which detects a periphery vehicle to the rear of a vehicle; a curve path information detection unit which detects information associated with a radius of curvature of the curve path; a storage unit which stores a detection result of the curve path information detection unit; and a processing unit which sets a detection region to the rear of the vehicle on the basis of a detection result relating to the radius of curvature of the curve path to the rear of the present vehicle location which is the detection result of the curve path information detection unit which is stored in the storage unit, and which detects a peripheral vehicle traveling to the rear of the vehicle upon one specified vehicle path having a prescribed relation to the travel path of the vehicle on the basis of the detection result of the periphery vehicle detection unit in the set detection region.</p> |
