<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus, an information processing method, and a program capable of performing authentication processing without an increase in a false rejection rate even in a biometric authentication processing using biological information changing in a daily life. <P>SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus according to the disclosure includes: a biological information authentication unit for authenticating biological information based on a biological signal that is a dynamic signal generated in a biological body with a life activity of the biological body by using registered biological information that is the biological information previously registered; and a registered biological information extension unit for performing statistical processing associated with the authenticated biological information by using the biological information authenticated by the biological information authentication unit and the registered biological information, and extending the registered biological information previously registered on the basis of the statistical processing result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
