<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric parking device, with which a drive unit such as a motor rotating a parking lever has superior characteristics to be mounted in the interior of a brake drum, and has a high water proofness and dust proof property. <P>SOLUTION: An anchor part 17 and a case 24 are formed integrally overlapping of a rotational shaft R of a brake drum 16. The case 24 is fixed to a back plate 15. The arrangement space in the rotational axis direction of the brake drum 16 is spacious in comparison with that in the direction perpendicular to the rotational axis direction. Thereby, the anchor part 17 and the case 24 can be arranged integrally overlapping a rotational shaft R direction of a brake drum 16. A drive unit 20 having superior characteristics to be mounted in the interior of the brake drum 16 can be constituted. Also, the case 24 is fixed to the back plate 15, so that the drive unit 20 is protected by the back plate 15.
