<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve user intuitive operability, user-friendliness and display visibility. <P>SOLUTION: The in-vehicle input device 10 includes: a grip part 12 provided in a steering handle 11 of a vehicle; an operation detection part 13 provided on the grip part 12; and a display screen 14a of a display unit arranged behind the grip part 12 and the operation detection part 13 along a line of sight of a driver. Icons 31 which are arranged so as to be viewed from the driver and change in response to user input operation to the operation detection part 13, are displayed in a position vertically above the grip part 12, on the display screen 14a.
