<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device and an image processing method that employ a 2D-3D conversion technique capable of having an impact on a pop-up feeling. <P>SOLUTION: A left image is generated from an input two-dimensional image, a parallax value having a predetermined number of stages is calculated from a luminance component of an object pixel in the left image, the object pixel in the left image is shifted rightward according to the parallax value of the object pixel to copy its pixel value, and thereby a right image is created. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
