<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reader which enables accurate positioning of a light guide member in a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: A light-emitting unit 400 constituting an image reader 300 includes: an LED 410; a rod-like light guide member 340 which has one edge facing the LED 410, is disposed along a main scanning direction Y, and has a light irradiation part 341 for irradiating the outside with light, which is formed so as to extend in the main scanning direction Y on part of the outer peripheral surface of the light guide member 340; a holding member 420 that holds the LED 410 and the light guide member 340; and a first frame body 311 for storing the holding member 420 with the holding member being positioned. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
