<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic filter capable of reducing the clogging of cells due to local deposition of particulate when treating exhaust gas including the particulate. <P>SOLUTION: The ceramic filter 1 has: a honeycomb structure part having porous partitioning walls 3 containing ceramics as a main component; and a plurality of cells 5, a center part of the honeycomb structure part is a one face-sealed honeycomb structure part 15 including: cells 5 in which only one end faces 7a are sealed; and cells 5 which is not sealed anywhere, the outer peripheral part of the honeycomb structure part is a both face sealed honeycomb structure part 17 including a structure in which cells 5 in which only one end faces 7a are sealed and cells 5 in which only the other end faces 7b are sealed are alternately lined. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
