<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal device which eliminates a panel provided with a touch panel, reduces the length and the width of the device, and allows a frame member attached to the housing to be exchanged at the outer side of a water-stop region. <P>SOLUTION: A portable terminal device includes: a housing 6; a movable front case 28; a frame member 8 fixed to the housing; and a touch panel 10 fixed to the housing. A peripheral wall part 12 of the frame member 8, covering a side surface of the housing, engages with the housing, and cover parts 16, 18 of the frame member 8, covering an upper surface of the housing, are fixed to the housing.
