<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag device having an inflater that secures waterproof property at a connecting part of an initiator and a power distribution harness by potting while preventing a leak when a potting agent is filled. <P>SOLUTION: The inflater which generates gas for expanding the airbag includes: a gas generating agent; an initiator which makes the gas generating agent start gas generating reaction; a housing containing the gas generating agent and the initiator ; the power distribution harness 230 which supplies electricity from an outside to the initiator via an opening formed at a housing; a cap member 250 which is positioned opposite to a surface of the housing at the circumference of the opening; an elastic member 260 which encloses the opening and which is annular and sandwiched between the surface of the housing and a surface part 251 opposite to the cap member; and the potting agent P which is filled in a space between the housing at an inner circumference side of the elastic member and the cap member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
