<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device for simplifying input of file names when executing ScanToEmail. <P>SOLUTION: In a composite device 1, a scanner part 10 reads a document in which a pattern representing digital information including document information is embedded to generate image data, and a pattern analysis part 25 extracts the pattern from the image data and analyzes the digital information represented by the pattern in order to acquire the document information. The device 1 allows a file name setting part 22 to create a file name of the image data based on the document information to set the file name, and stores the file name with the image data in a volatile memory 21. Next, the device 1 transmits the image data stored in the volatile memory 21 to a destination designated by an e-mail job control part 23. As a result, it eliminates the need for a user to input a file name through an operation panel 11, thus, enhancing the convenience. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
