<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for reducing power consumption by minimizing frame discard in a network relay device performing data transfer by using a plurality of network LSIs. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a network relay device for performing data transfer by using a plurality of network LSIs. The network relay device has a transfer engine part composed of at least two or more network LSIs, and a central control part controlling an operation state of the network relay device. The transfer engine part comprises as components: the network LSI capable of switching at least one of a clock which is different for each function block and operation voltage; a load determination part determining a load applied to each function block of the network LSI; and a frequency voltage control part individually switching at least one of the clock and operation voltage supplied to each function block, based on the load determined by the load determination part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
