<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyimide film excellent in insulation properties and having very few foreign matters adhered on the surface thereof. <P>SOLUTION: This polyimide film comprises a polyimide obtained by reacting aromatic tetracarboxylic acids and aromatic diamines, and as foreign matter adhered on the surface of the film, the content of three kinds of iron, chromium and nickel elements is 0.5 ng/cm<SP POS="POST">2</SP>or less in total. The method for producing the polyimide film is characterized by having a step of heat-treating the film in a high temperature zone of 460°C or higher by a tenter, and using a solid lubricant containing tungsten element for a tenter sliding part in the heat-treating step. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
