Provided are a curtain airbag and a curtain airbag apparatus capable of providing tension to the curtain airbag and suppressing the curtain airbag from being pushed out of a vehicle even when a single curtain airbag is provided for a first-row seat. The curtain airbag has: a plurality of first fixing portions (11) formed above an inflating portion (10); a second fixing portion (12) disposed toward the rear of the vehicle (2) and formed at a position lower than the first fixing portion (11); a third fixing portion (13) disposed toward the front of the vehicle (2) and formed at a position lower than second fixing portion (12); and a locking inflating portion (10c) formed in a part of the inflating portion (10) in such a manner as to cover a part of a B pillar (23) upon completion of inflation and deployment. The second fixing portion (12) is fixed by being raised to a vehicle body upper portion (21) near the B pillar (23). The inflating portion (10) is disposed in such a manner as to be inflated and deployed along a side window (22) for a first-row seat (24) of the vehicle (2).
