PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for producing a green compact from powder or granule-shaped materials are provided to secure uniform density of materials without additional mechanical components. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for producing a green compact from powder or granule-shaped materials comprises a filling shoe(5). First and second parking positions for the filling shoe are positioned in different points. The filling shoe is connected to filling stations(16, 20) in the first and the second parking positions. The filling stations fill the charge shoe with materials.
