PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition containing stabilized alpha-lipoic acid is provided to enhance skin whitening function. CONSTITUTION: A method for stabilizing alpha-lipoic acid comprises: a step of putting hydroxypropyl beta-cyclodextrin to water as a solvent and heating at 60-80 Deg. C.; a step of putting alpha-lipoic acid to the mixture and mixing at 50-60 Deg. C.; a step of adding Tremella Fuciformis extract to the mixture; and a step of adjusting pH of the mixture by 7.0-9.0.
