The present invention provides a method for displaying an image-based caller ring of one party of a call or an image-based advertisement of an advertiser on a terminal of the other party of the call when a sender calls a receiver. According to the present invention, if an application program, which has been downloaded from an app store or a management server, is installed on a terminal, the installed application program sends a registered terminal user profile or image information to the management server, and the terminal receives the image-based caller ring of a service subscriber or the image-based advertisement of an advertiser transmitted by the management server, and stores same in the storage area of the terminal. Then, when a caller places a call, the application programs installed on the sending and receiving terminals sense the call initiation, and accordingly start running, and the terminal receives the receiver image information or the advertising information from the storage area of the terminal or the management server and displays same on the sending terminal. |
