<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction machine equipped with an engine unit having an engine, a generator motor and a hydraulic pump integrated, capable of improving its workability during mounting/demounting the generator motor. <P>SOLUTION: A hydraulic shovel 51 includes an engine unit 40 having an engine 2, a hydraulic pump 4 and a generator motor 1 integrated, a vehicle body frame part 65, and mount parts 41, 42. The hydraulic pump 4 is driven by the driving force of the engine 2. The generator motor 1 is provided between the engine 2 and the hydraulic pump 4, and has a rotating shaft 19 connected to the output shaft of the engine 2 and the input shaft of the hydraulic pump 4, a first housing 11 fixed to the side of the engine 2, and a second housing 15 fixed to the side of the hydraulic pump 4. The vehicle body frame part 65 is equipped with the engine unit 40.
