ETHYLENE POLYMER PARTICLE, PRODUCTION METHOD FOR ETHYLENE POLYMER PARTICLE AND MOLDED PRODUCT OBTAINED FROM THE ETHYLENE POLYMER PARTICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrahigh molecular weight ethylene polymer particle with excellent molding processability in producing various kinds of molded products.

SOLUTION: The ethylene polymer particle has (I) particle sphericity α of 0.7 or more and 1 or less, (II) particle smoothness β of 1 or more and 1.5 or less, (III) intrinsic viscosity [η] of 25 dL/g to 50 dL/g, and (IV) an average particle size of 100 to 300 μm. The ethylene polymer fine particles are obtained by polymerization of an olefin including ethylene using a catalyst for olefin polymerization including a solid titanium catalyst component containing magnesium, halogen and titanium, and a compound having a specific ether bond.
