<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting device and a cutting method of an existing pipe capable of reduction in size of the whole cutting device, by restraining a stroke amount of advance-retreat to the existing pipe of a cutting blade. <P>SOLUTION: A seal case is constituted of: a first case 3 fixed to the existing pipe 1 and provided with an on-off valve 7; and a second case 5 provided with the cutting blade 4 for cutting the existing pipe 1 and an advance-retreat driving portion 6 capable of advancing-retreating the cutting blade 4 to the existing pipe 1, and extendably formed corresponding to the existing pipe 1. A tip part of the cutting blade 4 is arranged in close vicinity to the existing pipe 1 on the existing pipe 1 side more than the on-off valve 7 by connecting the first case 3 and the second case 5, and can move by separating from the existing pipe 1 more than the on-off valve 7 by means of the extension of the second case 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
