<p>Disclosed is a process for oxidizing cyclohexane, and the process comprises contacting cyclohexane, and hydrogen peroxide or an aqueous hydrogen peroxide solution, with a titanium silicate molecular sieve catalyst in an organic solvent under conditions for oxidization reaction, wherein the organic solvent is a nitrile and/or halogenated hydrocarbon. Under substantially identical conditions, using a nitrile and/or halogenated hydrocarbon as an organic solvent increases the conversion of cyclohexane and the yield of cyclohexanol, compared with the titanium silicate molecular sieve/H2O2 catalytic systems for oxidizing cyclohexane which have been extensively studied and use a ketone, alcohol or acid as a solvent; and the process effectively achieves separation for the target products, facilitating industrial applications.</p> |
