摘要 <p>In a wireless communication system according to the present invention, a master wireless terminal (101) and relay wireless terminals (201, 301, 401, 501, 601) are configured to transmit beacon signals containing relay stage number information which indicate the number of relay stages passed through in order to perform communication with the master wireless terminal (101). A wireless terminal which newly enters the wireless communication system is provided with: a reception level measurement unit (1002) which measures the reception levels of each of the received beacon signals; a relay stage number analysis unit (1001) which acquires relay stage number information from each of the received beacon signals; and a belonging wireless terminal determination unit (1003) which determines as a connection destination the wireless terminal that is the transmission source for the beacon signal assessed to have a measured beacon signal reception level equal to or larger than a predetermined value and having the smallest number of relay stages according to the acquired relay stage number information.</p>
