<p>The purpose of the present invention is to provide a pneumatic tire in which rolling resistance is sufficiently decreased. The pneumatic tire according to the present invention is provided with: a carcass including a carcass main body portion extending from a tread portion via a side wall portion to a bead portion in a toroidal shape and locked on a bead core embedded in the bead portion; and a belt disposed on an outer peripheral side of a crown portion of the carcass. When the tire is mounted on a suitable rim and put under the condition of a predetermined internal pressure with no load, a minimum value (R1) of the radius of curvature, in a tire-width-direction cross section, of a tire-radial-direction outside portion of the carcass main body portion which is positioned on the outside in a tire radial direction with respect to a position at which the distance measured from the inner end of the carcass in the tire radial direction outward in the tire radial direction is one half the height of the carcass in cross section, is 0.6 times or less of a minimum value (R2) of the radius of curvature, in the tire-width-direction cross section, of a part of a tire-radial-direction inside portion of the carcass main body portion which part protrudes outward in a tire width direction, the tire-radial-direction inside portion being positioned on the inside in the tire radial direction with respect to the tire-radial-direction outside portion.</p> |
