<p>Disclosed are a method and system for monitoring Internet of things, applied to the technical field of communications. The method includes: a monitoring agent end reading connection information about a monitoring server end, connecting the monitoring server end by way of the connection information thereabout and receiving the monitoring item configuration returned by the monitoring server end; reading the monitoring item configuration, and determining a corresponding monitoring item data collection manner according to the monitoring item contained in the monitoring item configuration; and then applying the determined monitoring item data collection manner to collect the monitoring item data of the monitoring resources and returning the same to the monitoring server end. In the present invention, when collecting monitoring data, i.e. monitoring item data, the monitoring agent end adopts the manners of active collection and passive collection according to the importance of the monitoring resources and the features of the monitoring item interfaces to choose the best monitoring manner, so as to achieve the effect that the monitoring agent reduces resource occupation and quickly finds resource state changes.</p> |
