<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent power from being cut off when cutting a paper sheet offline and further to prevent the paper sheet from being erroneously charged to a charging portion. <P>SOLUTION: A paper sheet cutting device comprises: a device main body 1 that has a charging port portion 2 through which a paper sheet is charged on one side surface; an opening and closing door 5 for opening and closing the charging port portion 2; a branch conveyance path 13b for conveying the paper sheet charged through the charging port portion 2; a detection sensor 19 for discriminating whether or not the paper sheet conveyed by the branch conveyance path 13b is to be cut; a cutting portion 16 that introduces the paper sheet discriminated to be cut by the detection sensor 19 through a guiding port portion 16a and cuts the paper sheet; a shutter 21 for shielding the guiding port portion 16a of the cutting portion 16 based on a discrimination result that the paper sheet is not to be cut by the detection sensor 19. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
