PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a yellow pigment dispersion liquid capable of producing a colored layer (coated layer) that allows no deposition of a pigment aggregate even after a high-temperature heating step in a color filter production process while achieving demand for high brightness and high contrast, and suitable for increasing the color reproduction region of a color filter, and to provide a yellow resin composition for a color filter capable of preventing deposition of a pigment aggregate during a high-temperature heating step and producing a colored layer of high brightness and high contrast, and suitable for increasing the color reproduction area of a color filter.

SOLUTION: The yellow pigment dispersion liquid contains a pigment containing a quinophthalone pigment and an isoindoline pigment, an imide alkylation derivative of the quinophthalone pigment, a pigment dispersion liquid, and a solvent. The yellow pigment dispersion liquid contains 0.1-20 pts.mass of the imide alkylation derivative of the quinophthalone pigment based on 100 pts.mass of the quinophthalone pigment.
