<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure heat insulating properties and insulating properties of a cable which passes through the inside of a fixing film and suppress an interference between the cable and the fixing film in a fixing device. <P>SOLUTION: A fixing device includes: a fixing film; a halogen lamp 120; a nip member in slide contact with the inner peripheral surface of the fixing film; a pressure roller to form a nip part through the fixing film between the nip member and the pressure roller; a conductive stay 160 disposed to cover the halogen lamp 120; a thermostat 170; a cable C1 connected to the thermostat 170 to be taken out from an end part of the fixing film; an insulating first frame 210 disposed on the opposite side of the halogen lamp 120 across the stay 160 so as to extend along the stay 160; and a second frame 220 disposed on the opposite side of the stay 160 across the first frame 210 so as to extend along the first frame 210.
