<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system capable of periodically monitoring a state of an agent during maintenance without performing any state monitoring operation. <P>SOLUTION: An agent function section 1-1 of an agent server 1 updates, whenever a state transits, the content of a status log 1-2 in the state. An agent function section 2-3 of a proxy server 2 updates, whenever a state transits, the content of a status log 2-4 in the state. Even when a maintenance is performed by SNMP, a proxy manager function section 2-1 periodically monitors the state of the agent server 1, monitors it differently from trap information, and collects and retains the status log 2-4 of the agent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
