<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synthetic resin retainer for a roller bearing, suppressing the generation of retainer sound without greatly increasing the mass thereof. <P>SOLUTION: A carbon fiber having a tensile strength of 3 to 8.5 GPa, a tensile elastic modulus of 220 to 700 GPa, and an elongation of 1.0 to 2.2% is impregnated with a thermosetting resin, and then formed into an annular shape and cured to obtain a core material 10a made of a carbon fiber reinforced resin and is inserted into at least one place of a retainer annular part 10 during the injection molding of the retainer. Thus, a synthetic resin retainer 1 having the carbon fiber reinforced resin core material 10a inserted in the entire periphery of the annular part 10 is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
