<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a starter motor control device that can contribute to the life extension of a mechanical switch. <P>SOLUTION: The starter motor control device comprises: a command receiving means 11 in which the starter motor control device 10 for controlling the start and stop of a DC starter motor M for engine starting receives a start command and a stop command of the DC starter motor M; a voltage detection means 12 which detects a pulsation voltage applicable to the DC starter motor M; a drive control means 14 which controls the operation of a drive means S for driving the mechanical switch 4 which connects and disconnects the application of the pulsation voltage to the DC starter motor M; and a switch timing control means 13 which operates the drive control means 14 so that the mechanical switch 4 may be turned on or off at timing at which the pulsation voltage detected by the voltage detection means 12 reaches a set voltage value lower than the maximum value when the command receiving means 11 receives the start command or the stop command. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
