<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a firearm management system capable of reducing burdens of management of firearms and surely performing the management of the firearms. <P>SOLUTION: A firearm management system comprises a personal storage 21 for storing a gun G, and a central management computer 32 connected to the personal storage 21 via a communication line. The personal storage 21 is equipped with an electronic balance 26 for detecting information on the weight of the internally stored gun G, and a line 5 for transmitting information on the weight detected by the electronic balance 26, to the central management computer 32. The central management computer 32 is equipped with a user authentication database 56 in which the information on the weight of the gun G to be stored in the personal storage 21 is prestored as a registered weight 56f, and a gun management program 55 which compares the information on the weight, transmitted from the electronic balance 26, with the registered weight 56f prestored in the database 56, and which determines whether or not the gun G stored in the personal storage 21 is the preregistered gun G. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
