PURPOSE: A pneumatic tire is provided to improve water drain performance and icy road driving performance while preventing the reduction of steering stability and partial abrasion. CONSTITUTION: A pneumatic tire comprises a pair of center main grooves(3), a pair of shoulder main grooves(4), a pair of middle land portions(5), a center land portion(6), a pair of shoulder land portions(7), a horizontal groove(8), and a sub groove(9). The center main grooves and the shoulder main grooves are extended in an outside direction continuously from the center of the tire. The middle land portions are extended between the center main groove and the shoulder main groove. The horizontal groove are extended to be inclined at 30°to 50°and formed in the circumferential direction of the tire. The sub groove connects the horizontal groove.
