<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an iron which prevents a circuit of heater from being shut down in a state of the normal use due to reaching the rating operation temperature of a device for preventing the excessive rise of the temperature, and is easy to manufacture. <P>SOLUTION: An iron comprises: a device 9 connected in series with a circuit of a heater 2 for preventing the excessive rise of the temperature; a base 1 installed to be heatable with the heaters 2 having different capacities; and a device fastening portion 10 capable of attaching the device 9 to the base 1. The devices 9 (9a, 9b) having different operation temperatures for shutting down the circuit of the heater 2 is selectively attached to the device fastening portion 10 according to the capacity of the heater 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
