<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit overshoot by detecting an actual voltage between both ends of a heating element to control energization based on the detected voltage, and to eliminate power shortage. <P>SOLUTION: A fixing device 100 having a fixing control circuit 104 detecting a power supply voltage inputted to the fixing heater 101 to control energization to a fixing heater 101 includes: the fixing control circuit 104 that is disposed between a power source 102 and the fixing heater 101; and an AC voltage detection circuit 105 that is disposed at a subsequent stage of the fixing control circuit 104 and inputs the detected voltage value to the fixing control circuit 104. The AC voltage detection circuit 105 starts voltage detection at a time after elapse of a preset voltage detection start standby time since the energization to the fixing heater 101 is started and the temperature reaches to a predetermined level, and the fixing control circuit 104 reflects the voltage detected after completion of the voltage detection to the control. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
