<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple gasket for a valve of an internal combustion engine having a cost reduction effect. <P>SOLUTION: The gasket (18) includes a tubular support element (26) on an axis (B), and an elastically deformable element (25) installed between a valve (12) and the support element (26). The support element (26) has a first part (42) and a second part (41). The first part (42) is drawn orthogonally to the axis (B), and receives action by a component parallel to the axis (B) for easily installing the gasket (18) to the valve. The second part (41) becomes slender along the axis (B) with the first part (42) as a starting point, and has at least one segment (45) of increasing a radial dimension toward the first part (42) so as to reduce the volume of the elastically deformable element (25). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
