<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent dishonest taking out and use of consumable supplies such as cartridges and to efficiently and appropriately control the consumable supplies. <P>SOLUTION: For example, in a first network group 100, various tables including a table in which identification ID's for different network groups (for different communication boxes) are set respectively are stored in a memory (NVRAM) 24 of a first communication BOX 2 having a server function. Meanwhile, the identification ID is written in an IC tag for each ink in advance from the communication BOX. Also, each MFP (e.g., MFP-D6) acquires information of the different tables from the first communication BOX 2 and stores it in a memory (NVRAM) 64. When an ink 18 is fitted, the MFP-D6 acquires the identification ID from the IC tag 19 of the ink 18 and compares it with the identification ID stored in itself.
