摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide glycosylation engineering to generate proteins having an altered glycosylation pattern resulting in improved therapeutic values. <P>SOLUTION: A host cell is engineered for the expression of at least one nucleic acid encoding a glycoprotein-modifying glycosyltransferaseat an adjusted level, and is engineered such that they are capable of expressing a preferred range of a glycoprotein-modifying glycosyl transferase activity which increases complex N-linked oligosaccharides carrying bisecting GlcNAc.
