<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for stably, continuously and efficiently cleaning hexafluoropropylene oxide. <P>SOLUTION: The method for cleaning hexafluoropropylene oxide includes cleaning a conposition containing hexafluoropropylene oxide and compounds represented by the general formula (X): CF<SB POS="POST">3</SB>O(CF<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O)<SB POS="POST">n</SB>-R (wherein -R is -COF, -OCOF or -CF<SB POS="POST">2</SB>COF; and n is an integer of 0 to 50) using an alkaline aqueous liquid by adding at least one silicone-based defoamant selected from a self-emulsification type and an emulsion type, and by controlling the pH of a liquid during cleaning to 14 or below. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
